The Silent Webmaster
The person behind the channel
I’m Paul M. Barber, known online as TruZillah. I build websites quietly, show the work openly, and I’m now building the tools I wish I’d had from day one.
Why this channel exists
Some of the web’s best sites are run by people you’ve never heard of. They’re solo operators who build something useful, keep their heads down and let the work speak. The Silent Webmaster is for them, and for anyone who wants to become one.
I’ve been building with WordPress since 2013. Along the way I’ve built and run my own content sites, learned what actually moves the needle, and made plenty of mistakes so you don’t have to. This channel is where I share that process: the builds, the tools and the thinking behind them.
The short version
- Age 13 Started writing music, and learned that craft means repetition, taste and actually finishing things.
- 2013 Started building with WordPress. Haven’t stopped since.
- Content sites Built and ran my own niche content sites, and learned the business behind them.
- The Silent Webmaster Started sharing the process: episodes, tutorials and the tools I actually use.
- ArcanoLabs.ai Now building AI automation for solo operators who run more than one site.
Where the music comes in
Before I wrote code, I wrote songs. I started at 13 and never stopped. Today I produce on an MPC Live II with an electric piano and a bass guitar.
Making a track and building a site turn out to be the same job. Start with a rough idea, layer it carefully, cut whatever doesn’t serve it, and ship it.
What you’ll find here
What I’m building
ArcanoLabs.ai
ArcanoLabs is an AI-powered platform for solo operators. It handles content automation and multi-site management, so one person can run a portfolio of sites without a team. It’s the system I wanted for my own sites, and now I’m building it for everyone else.
What I believe
Quiet over loud
Good work compounds without a spotlight. Build first, talk later.
Systems over hustle
If a task has to be done twice, it deserves a system, and more and more often an automation.
Show the real work
No fake screenshots and no overnight-success stories. You’ll see what worked, what didn’t, and why.
Say hello
Got a question, an idea for an episode, or want to work together? I read every message.
